Would Dan Hurley take the Celtics job in a hypothetical?

And would he be a good NBA coach? I kinda think he would. I feel like they are missing that alpha Phil Jackson like coach to get them over the top. You just can’t lose these games. I mean you can but it happens to them to much and they wind up to deep in series than they should be and wind up stung.

Yes. Northeastern basketball junkie coaches can't turn down the ability to coach the Boston Celtics... Let alone one with a loaded roster.... Especially with the last name Hurley...

Miami shot 53% from 3 and made 23 of them. That's not sustainable at all for a whole series.

The Celtics are just fine.

I’m not plugged in, obviously, but you gotta figure if they crap the bed in the playoffs Brad Stevens is going to put himself back on the bench.

It’s tough to disagree with how depleted the Heat are, but the Celtics coach is coach is putting himself on the hot seat with the terrible home playoff losses that he keeps stacking up.

Are you sure about that?

In this series, sure.

The only reason they are fine is bc Jimmy Buter is out for the series, not because they have learned anything from previous failures. That’s a problem.

The problem with the Celtics is defense. If Tatum and Brown would use their athleticism to play great D they would win it all. It’s not that they don’t make athletic defensive plays, they both do, but they don’t play the kind of D that doesn’t always show up in the stat books to shut the other team down.

You have to play great team D in the playoffs and they just don’t.
