Assuming everyone is leaving off Chris Berman because he is by far the worst....

I'd go with Steven A. Smith.

But the ever-shouting Herm Edwards is a close second.

I literally mute the tv or change the channel when he starts shouting.

M&M were once kidding around with Hill on one of her appearances on their show & Greenie introduced her as "the controversial J.Hill". She was actually surprised at being looked at that way, denied it, and said she felt she was one of the more "open minded & fair" sports reporters on tv. She actually feels the way she does; Kanell is just an idiot who has discovered trolling & thinks it's amusing.

Kannell.

Homer? Check.
Dumbass? Check.
Boring? Check.
Douchey? Check.

He has no appeal other than being a complete troll.

For college football it's Danny Kannell and it isn't close. The guy is terrible and lets all of his bias opinions be known (Lou gets a pass from me because he's old and obviously is holding out hope that he will witness another ND championship before he dies). His fellow analysts make fun of him for it in nearly every segment he does. I don't understand how he can continue getting paid to do a job where he is supposed to give a neutral, unbiased analysis. He is living off of the wave that Bama Phyllis gave him to ride on.

I wish I could be a superfan and get a job at ESPN making six figures to let everyone know about my superfandom.

First Take crew
NNL crew
Robert Smith
Jason Seahorn
Trevor Matich
Wilbon
75% of the Around the Horn guests
etc, etc.

You know, it'd probably be easier, and shorter to make a list of the Best personalities.

I don't blame kannell, he sees trolling is the way to get noticed and promoted so turns it up a notch and is all over the place now. Blame the network that likes to push empty headed trolls for twitter reactions

Dilfer is terrible.

He drove the Mark Sanchez bandwagon for years because of his dumb "car keys" theory. He believed that Sanchez has 'it' and if he and 5 other QBs are leaving the house to get something to eat, they'd throw the car keys to Sanchez because of his charm and charisma.

He explained this on Bill Simmons' podcast a few years ago, and keep in mind that this was well after pretty much everyone knew that Sanchez was terrible.
