Worst case scenario is we get a golf board and then all you retards start trolling other boards with spam threads to get more new boards.

Why do some of the people on the MSB who don't play golf think that their time on this site is more valuable, than those who do play golf?

It's a "More Sports Board" and golf is a sport. Also, it doesn't say "More Sports News Board."

So, while you bitch about the golf threads and how they take up space, you still take the time to click on the thread and post responses in it. Seems to me like you are the troll.

Get over it.

Watch the video again and pause it at impact. Your setup looks REALLY good, it looks like your transition, which leads to impact, needs work

Once you get to the top of the swing slide OR bump your left hip to the left, while maintaining spine angle and head position, of course. That will get the majority of your weight (65%) on your left side and allow the club to drop from the top. THERE SHOULD BE NO EFFORT TO MOVE THE CLUB FROM THE TOP OF THE BACKSWING. That lower body weight transition will do all the work.

Once the club has reached parallel again then your hands can take over and finish the swing.

I see 3 main things. 1. knees losing angle...at impact you are actually moving your weight up and not toward the target..keep the good athletic position...2. hold the angle of club as long as poss...wrists will come through.. 3. right elbow too far outside waist.. try making it rub your belly as you swing through.....good luck.

You're laid off at the top and your knees are locked right before and at impact. This isn't a good position.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to notice this. Everyone is so concerned about being laid off and all that crap. Not that big of a deal. Your footwork and lower body need some work. You're trying to hit the ball so damn hard you're jumping off the ground

I swear after just watching his feet in the first swing, he is actually moving backwards a few inches.

Edit: the second swing too.

Nice swing. You make a great move at it. I would guess you are a scratch golfer. Amirite???

I would work a little on my footwork ... Try hitting some drivers at half speed with both feet together. Another training tip would be to pretend you have a nail that is drilled into your left foot by your toes and you CAN'T move those toes off the ground ..

That helped me out a lot.

I'd hate to see what my swing looks like on video, and I def wouldn't show you people.

My drill to work on footwork is to roll up a towel longways, and hit balls barefoot standing on the towel. Makes you keep your feet quiet

Currently a +2.1 handicap. Played college and pro golf for a while. Laid off doesn't concern me as much as footwork, however I ha e always "jumped" in my swing. Generally smaller players do it and I am trying to stop.
