The agent for Oklahoma City guard Reggie Jackson has asked general manager Sam Presti to trade his client before Thursday’s NBA deadline, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

@ChrisMannixSI Crazy how toxic the Reggie Jackson-OKC relationship has become. But OKC won't give him away, and they are likely to match reasonable offers.

Reggie Jackson thinks he's Russell Westbrook

Jackson and Morrow are losing playing time to Dion fricking Waiters. I'd want out ASAP too.

And all signs are that he is stuck there as a RFA because OKC will likely match any deal he accepts

quote:I get it but damn, that is not gonna help morale. Between that and reporters asking KD/Westbrook everyday whether or not Brooks can even spell his own name, the OKC lockerroom seems pretty shitty at the moment.

And every interview KD does it sounds like he hates everything
Dude is seriously pissed off at people turning "You the real MVP" into a meme

KD is definitely trying to get rid of the "nice guy" persona he's has. He's been a dick to media lately and been talking shite.
I don't think its a smart move bc that's why a lot of people liked him but who knows. OKC is going to explode soon.
Brooks sucks dick. Their window for a championship is pretty much over.

It's pretty wild how often "the next great team" doesn't win a single NBA Championship.

If you haven't noticed NBA championships are hard as frick to win. 2 franchises have won like half of them.

Jackson is losing minutes to Waiters because he sucks at defense. Waiters isn't even a good defender so that just shows you how bad Jackson really is at defense.

OKC likely doesn't make it past the first round last year without Reggie Jackson. He absolutely took over in Game 4 of their series against Memphis and won them that game. Memphis goes up 3-1 with a ton of momentum if they hold on to that game.

Oh I agree he's the reason the Thunder made it past Memphis and around that time I was all for Jackson but this season with the Thunder (besides his stint as a starter) he's super frustrating. Settling for too many long jumpers, mostly step backs and his defense while never that great has been awful this year. He legit does not want to be there and you can tell with his play at least that's my opinion.

How would rockets fans feel about jackson as a plan B?

The Bulls have been the next great young up and coming team for like 15 years now.
Instead the young core bombs out, they trade players for picks, rinse, repeat.

quote:Do you think Presti will deal with Morey again after the Harden fleecing? I wouldn't expect him to. I wouldn't mind Jackson but wouldn't be nearly as excited about getting him vs getting Gogi.
