The 4 NBA players that have had multiple 60 PT games
If you can do that, spot the underrated one. I had no idea he had that type of game.
(Downsouthcrawfish) nailed it

Elgin Baylor played with jerry west and wilt.
I did not realize he scored that much that many times.

You should be banned to the ACC rant.

3 out of 4 are pretty obvious. I thought Jerry West was the fourth.

That's a thing? Sounds boring.

Elgin has always been called Michael Jordan before Michael Jordan.
Baylor average 28 points and 14 rebounds a game.
Baylor's points per game best season is better than Jordan's best scoring season.
Elgin Baylor 38.3 ('61-'62)
Michael Jordan 37.1 ('86-'87)
“He was one of the most spectacular shooters the game has ever known,” Jerry West to HOOPmagazine. “I hear people talking about forwards today and I haven’t seen many that can compare with him.”
The most amazing fact about the following season wasn’t what he did on the court but what he was doing off of it: Baylor was on active duty for the Army and only played with the Lakers on weekends. He was still in good enough basketball shape to average 38/19/5 and drop a NBA Finals record of 61 points to go with 22 boards!
Kobe on Baylor: LINK
Baylor never won the single-season points record because he was playing his prime during Wilt's prime...but he was a scoring machine.

Kobe, Wilt, Jordan, Maravich?

As much as I hate the Lakers, Elgin Baylor gets the short straw historically, moreso than any of the game's other true titans.
He wasn't as dominant a presence as Wilt, and he wasn't as popular as The Logo, despite being the better player.
