What a bunch of oversensitive pussies. I suppose every perceived slight is now only due to race?

Nigel needs to blame his gendo-racial cohort (or whatever mishmash term academia has invented) that commits most of violent crime instead of white, liberal neckbeards who have sense enough to cross the street when they see a 6 ft 7 athlete hooting and hollering on a college campus.

I bet the white liberals in Madison, Wisconsin, are paralyzed with fear right now, though. They made their bed, let them lie in it.

Wisconsin is liberal and PC as frick, so this is surprising.

Not really. Black people are yesterday's news. Lefties don't care about anything except sexual libertinism these days.

First, the message is assuming what other people are assuming. The professor that tells the football player that he shouldn't take his class could be saying that for a myriad of reasons. One being that you already have a heavy workload as a football player. That professor may have bad experiences with football players or got pressure to lighten their workload, etc.

Please detail grievances that can be factually verified and list demands that are concrete and can be measured. I would take them more seriously.

WTF does this have to do with the school?

Nothing.

Here's the email I sent to my friends with my thoughts on it.

I probably need a bit more detail on the daily discrimination that those guys experience. In my experience way back when, the football players walked around like they owned the place (at all times).

As for the one specific example they give, apparently Obama wasn't the only one "noosed" (Hillary was too). I admit that, yes, that person may have been a horrible racist and a bad person. But I don't understand how that equates to change needing to happen at UW. It was likely an idiot who just happened to be at a UW event.

I also get the sense that Nigel is of the belief that he "gets it" more than everyone else, which is likely not the case and often comes off as arrogant. His experience in college has been anything but normal and has been paved with preferential treatment.

I do like how they framed it, to the positive, but just overall it's a bit odd in my opinion to make demands of the UW. That probably isn't the kind of thing that would help recruiting.

ETA: Some context. Halloween at UW is insane. Tens of thousands of people come to town for the weekend and it's quite the show. Lots of offensive costumes among the many thousands of people.
