LSU honestly had no other option but to seperate ways unless they wanted to just play absolute hard ball.
Tha bengals said he is about to win the conference with Mcneese. They play good ball.
He may be a better coach now that he went through all that turmoil and he is on a vengeance tour.

Aside from Saban and (begrudgingly) Sherman, LSU has never in her esteemed history had a more talented General prowling the campus than the great CWW.

He was just fine at LSU. I have no idea where this idea that he was a terrible coach comes from

Yeah he had the best record in the conference during his time at LSU despite losing at least one highly ranked recruit per year due to the allegations.

He was a great coach who sometimes struggled with playcalling out of timeouts.

Still, calling him the best coach outside of Saban and Sherman at LSU is laughable. Bertman is the best coach in the history of his sport and Jay Johnson is the current best coach in college baseball.

That final season at LSU he found a style of defense that has turned him into a better coach. His offenses have always been productive and efficient but he kept shuffling through defensive styles that weren’t consistent those first few seasons at LSU. Now he’s got the model for both ends to be elite.

I think people forget how young Wade is. He’s only going to get better. What was he like 36 when he became head coach at lsu?

Saban, Brown and Bertman are different. All three came to a progaram that had done shat prior to their arrival. They showed it could be done. Brown and Bertman had to start at the bottom and build a foundation. Johnson had every advantage. The program was rebuilt and NIL is a big tool to help. None of the others had the Portal nor NIL.

He coached us to a 3 seed in the tourney his 2nd year with us, baw, AND, had he coached in the conference tournament, we probably earn a higher seed instead of losing to Florida in the quarters. Don't believe the anti-Wade media hype.
