So am I but that doesn't mean I should be on the committee. Until they take the human element out of it, it will be full of controversy. However, the more teams that are in it, the less the human element influences the outcome. If you are not 1 of the top 8 teams, or at least in the discussion, you don't deserve a shot at the title.

It's a game. There are no experts. The whole sport is flawed because of scheduling and conferences. Human eye test is one of the only ways to deal with it.

Yes. And both of those leagues end up with champions that are far less deserving than college football champions.
Playoffs are the most ridiculous way to determine a champion. They are often about matchups.
If you have one team in a playoff who matches up well with 4 out of the 8 teams, and they play 3 of those teams to win the championship, are they more deserving than the team who matches up well with 7 of the 8 but loses to that one team in the first round.
Playoffs are entertaining, and they keep people from arguing that they should have won, but they also keep teams like the Patriots from winning a championship when they are the greatest team most have ever seen.

Yes, it's often about match ups which comes down to coaching. The most talented team isn't necessarily the best team. Butler basketball is one example. Boise St in the Chris Peterson era is another.

I guarantee you that Saban would hate that matchup. He struggles against A&M's offense. And assuming they win the first one, that'd be tough to win the second one.

Considering that tOSU was eliminated before the season started and MSU was eliminated last night - effectively relegating the B1G to CUSA status, I understand your bitterness.

I hope the committee puts in the 4 most deserving teams regardless of conference. If that means 2 SEC teams than so be it but I have a feeling they will go the PC route and have 4 different conferences represented regardless of who really deserves to be there.

Which means any team that loses to Mizzou or struggles to beat them is also eliminated, considering they lost at home to Indiana, a B1G doormat.
