The Vikings seem to be enamored with Te'o, so I'll guess he won't last past 25.

it'd only be fitting that Te'o goes to the Niners.

Kiper has Teo at 20 to the bears. I guess they just can't wait to pass the torch next year: Butkus - Singletary - Urlacher - Welter!

and his big draw according to them is big run stuffing MLB. And against the closest thing to a pro OL and RB he sees, he is scared to death and missing tackles on purpose at best and just garbage at worst. And ND has just as much front seven talent as any SEC team per these same scout experts Mcshay and co. prior to the title game, so blaming it on his friends is not an excuse. he also gave them a gimme TD pass to the TE when he didn't even bother to cover him after a play action fake.

lets go down the list of All Pros and Hall of Famers who played bad in their toughest game.

Teo did have 7 INTs but anyone who has seen his highlights knows that they were all either thrown in his gut by horrid QBs or tipped 25 feet high by someone else.

truth.

I'll say this in defense of Te'o, who I think is overrated myself.

James Laurinaitis made basically the exact read Te'o did in a National title game. I know he had like 17 tackles or something, but many of them against LSU were 6+ yards past the LOS. He ran a 4.8 at the combine

He has 500+ tackles in 4 NFL seasons.

you talking about the TD to the TE? That was an unbalanced line with the TE at tackle against lsu. Teo's was a regular goalline formation.

I do think Laurinaitis is Teo's comparison, but i also think lil Animal kinda sucks himself. Of course you will make a ton of tackles playing ILB for 16 games.

I feel like they both had the TE as their guy and got duped in on play action. Honestly I don't 100% remember the LSU play but I remember JL missing the read on it

And JL has been in the top 15 in NFL tackles each of his 4 years. That can't suck no matter what. I don't think he's Willis, but he is a solid pro who likely will make a pro bowl or two, and I think is deserving

OU int was tipped. First Michigan int was thrown right at him and he didn't dive, and the second was tipped again. Navy int I wouldn't call a dive. You fail.

lsu lined up the LT out as a slot WR on the right, with the tight end as the left tackle but actually eligible. Much more excusable than Teo just forgetting that teams are allowed to pass.

This support his "instincts" though. He was in the area of the play, even when the ball was thrown somewhere else. They showed the OU one with Gruden and it was impressive to me how he knew where it was going to develop. It was 1 play, but I thought a good read

Oh god LOL. He was always just standing in the middle of the field...ya know, where an ILB should be.

The fact people think he is a better than average LB blows my fricking mind.
