You don't, but you need something. They have no video content. They would be a sports show that doesn't have the rights to show any sports videos.

He'll follow any reasonable amount of money, which pretty much eliminates Barstool.
The guy that bought them has a frick ton of money.
I don't see SVP going there though.

But they'll need to offer him ESPN-level money, at a minimum, to make what can only be described as a lateral move, at best.
I know the controlling owner of Barstool is The Chernin Group, but they're also trying to run a profitable business too. I'm not sure how opening up the pockets for SVP helps with that. Like you said, it's an unlikely move.

I don't think he will go, but it won't be because of money. They can offer him top dollar I'm sure, but ESPN is so much more. He has access to TVs all over the world, video rights for every major sport so he can do highlights, that fricking cafeteria, etc. shite that barstool can't match.
I don't think he'd even consider it. It would be a demotion in job.

If anything I see him going the route of Dan Patrick.
If ESPN doesn't renew his contract when it is up I can see him do that.

It would be a huge move backwards. They can't offer him TV. It would be the PMT guys leaving for WEEI.

Lol no. He’s too professional for barstool. Same with Russillo. This is the issue for barstool. Are they going to continue the immature stuff or go more mature? Prez is only getting older. I’m curious to see how they keep this up. I mean their key demo is college kids. Can’t have a prez being 50 years old doing the same stuff right?

I think portnoy is going to "retire" sooner or later and let the rest of the talent continue. All things considered PMT is not that controversial of a show and Pat McAfee's show is just a solid sports show. He could be moved to ESPN radio tomorrow and not change a thing

Dude probably makes more than barstool’s entire payroll so....no

I think Neil and Stan are pretty good too

He could have his own show on Fox or other networks. This would be huge step down for his career if he did so

i could see him getting into announcing.

I don't know what the PMT guys make, but it's a lot. They get paid by advertisers by the download and they have millions of downloads a month. I can't remember the exact numbers, but I know I've seen it here before so maybe someone can help me out. They don't make what SVP makes, but they aren't scratching a broke arse either. I would be interested to know what their total compensation is, especially Big Cat because he does a lot of other stuff too (like go on Chicago sports radio weekly)
