I don't think Bryce will get it but Trout will be a FA at 29 and a once in a lifetime talent that rarely hits the open market. I think 10-400+ is realistic for him

Out of curiosity why don't you think Harper will get it? Bryce will be 26 when he enters FA

Cause Bryce is way up and down. Look at 2015 and 2016. Trout is a better player by every metric and is consistent

Yes he will. I'm actually going to go as far to say that Trout would be worth $500+ million and no other player in baseball is worth $350+ million. He's that much better than the rest of the field.

So much can change by the time he is a free agent, it is hard to say. If he was a FA this winter, I believe he would.

Had an office lunch debate about Harper today. I told a coworker that if you put that much cash into one guy, when another team can get basically 2 all-stars for the same price, he better be as good as 1 1/2 all-stars.

For $40 million, I would expect gold glove level defense, 35+ HR and 120+ RBIs, with 20 steals and hitting over 300

RBIs, steals, and batting average. You just hit the stat nerd rage trifecta.
