I think it will cost him a couple spots possibly.

I hope so, it will teach him what it's like to be discriminated against and that's a lesson we must all learn

this. If he is drafted lower, it will be because he is basically JJ Redick

Lazy comparison. They are distinctly different players.

Redick is a true shooting guard. He played most of his college career away from the ball coming off screens to get his open shots. He isn't much of a ballhandler. He is a pure shooter.

Fredette is a combo guard. He can play point and shooting guard, although I think he will play the 2 more in the NBA. He is a much better ballhandler and shooter off the dribble than Redick. He played most of his college career with the ball in his hands, creating his own shot. He is also a better finisher around the goal.

Fredette is much more like Steph Curry than JJ Redick.

I know Davidson had Mckillop's son playing the point until Curry's last year. Curry is a much better ball handler and passer than JJ. He can play the point like Fredette.

JJ is a shooter only and can't really do anything else. This is unlike Fredette and Curry which can both play the point if needed, and can both finish around the rim.

Curry may have played a little different role than Fredette his first couple of years in college, but they are much more similar players than Fredette and Redick.

We'll see just how well Jimmer is able to drive the lane in the NBA. JJ went to the hoop too in college.
I think Jimmer will turn into JJ in the NBA is my point. If you require a comparison to what Jimmer's game is like in college, he is a much less athletic Ben Gordon.

Ive said it before. Jimmers best outcome is a Mark Price type player. He will need to work on ballhandling but I think he can be that kind of guy.

You = Fail

Fredette will be drafted according to his talent. The NBA is a business, and none of the NBA owners/GMs are going to make a rash decision based on race that would cost them money in the long run.

No, he will get drafted lower because he plays no DEF but is a better overall than his white friend JJ Red.

He is a rich mans JJ

I think he will go higher than he should because he is a white guy that can shoot the lights out

It depends what spots Indiana, Utah, and Boston have in the draft.

I always thought more Acie Law (at aTm) than JJ Redick (at Duke).

It will be interesting to see where he goes though. Redick and Law were 11th overall and Curry was 7th.
