Not a single player better.

We were all just talking about the true sophomore heisman finalist CORNERBACK and how great his 3rd year could have been.

LSU probably wins it all in 2012 with the Badger.

He didn't play enough games to be in the GOAT arena, but the list of players I've ever seen play as good as Tyrann is very short.
There are a lot of good players but not many playmakers such as him.

Agree. We were a stop against Bama short of getting there as is. I could see him causing a big turnover in that spot.

Tyrann was a terrific player and one of my favorites to watch.

I wouldn't place him above Charles Woodson or Ed Reed.

I'm not sure your statement could be any more exaggerated.

I will say he was a very special talent, and a guy with that very unique and important charisma (in terms of team building) that's rare and goes a long way in the locker room and on the field. It's like contagious energy. And he was a great CFB player that obviously made a difference when he was on the field.

But saying "not a single player better."

If I had to field an all time CFB team with players in their college primes, I would put him in the nickle. Let him roam around stripping at the ball. Especially when you have Deion Sanders and maybe Charles Woodson locking down the outsides.

I would only give him GOAT status as the most entertaining player I have ever seen in a CFB secondary.

He was either going to make a big jaw dropping play every single game that left you talking about him or he was going to punch a BAMA player in the face.

...I miss him.
