Why is the sports media in attack mode on Michigan?

Seems like they were caught red handed cheating but the college football writers normally aren’t foaming at the mouth over stuff like this especially with a “blue blood” like Michigan

To be fair, I don’t remember a similar case happening at a blue blood, and UM’s staffer is leaving behind a readily available paper trail to pick apart.

Forde has written a few articles all the way back in January attacking Harbaugh and Michigan saying they think they're morally superior and basically Harbaugh is a mess and is wrong for flirting with the NFL over the years and I hate them, etc...
Bringing up them minor b.s. Michigan had in the off-season like it was a huge deal...and Harbaugh should've been suspended longer.

Do others do it - I'm sure, but they have been smart enough to not get caught.
That said, Michigan has violated an NCAA rule, so the NCAA is investigating. Could you imagine if Bama had done this, been caught, and the NCAA turned a blind eye? The rest of the SEC would be beside themselves screaming about how they broke the rules and are getting away with it.

I don’t know but Michigan deserves all the attacks. Those slapdicks are the most self-important, holier than thou, self righteous group of fans to walk the earth.

1. This isn't "cheating" like recruits getting money or jewelry, this is actual cheating.
