Why hasn’t every NFL team lowered concession prices like the falcons?

The falcons made record profit(not just more sales, more actual money was made) and they had a huge boost in fan satisfaction

It’s literally a no brainer to do this. Yet, nobody else has. Why? Is it truly because they don’t want to make make more money and simply just enjoy fricking people over?

Because 90% of owners don't care about the fans.

Some teams don’t control the food and beverage contracts like the falcons

But you would think they care about making make money right?

Ok, but wouldn’t whoever did control it want to make more money? It’s like the modern CEO has completely lost any ideas besides “charge more”

The other owners probably looked at the Falcons attendance and realized that people care more about going to watch a good product than they do saving a few bucks on shite food and drink

It's more on the vendors locked into contracts that dictate the prices at most stadiums

Then the same question stands for the vendors. They are losing money all In the name of just charging more

Is that the only brilliant strategy companies have anymore?

Are there other instances of teams making more money after lowering prices? If the sample size is larger than 1 you may get some to follow suit

Went to MBS last year for a United game, and was blown away. Blank isn't a good owner from a competitive/want-to-win phase (though its not from lack of effort, but he can't fire Rich McKay), but he really does give a shite about fan experience.

That matters, and the concession prices show it. Contrast this with Truist, which has a better product, but yikes those concession prices are extreme.

Part of the reason is likely decades long Aramark contracts

ULL did this with football. It was awesome. Caused a slight increase in attendance as well. Only issue is long lines for concessions and stuff selling out. I would purposely not eat before a game and spend $20 on concessions easily while feeling like I got a great deal (probably 2 beers, a water, a soft pretzel, and an entree). At an LSU game, I’mma buy that one big $8 water so I don’t die, but I’ll starve before I waste any more money on the shitty overpriced food in that stadium.

Yep. Other vendors could make more but they are trying to balance doing the minimum amount of work rather than making the most profit.

The falcons concessions are great, but not even they could serve me fast enough to not miss a TD in 2019 playoff game vs. OU

Ain’t worth going to games anymore. Much better to watch at home.

That stadium is an all around enjoyable experience.

You mentioned concessions, but also the staff, seating and gameday experience are miles ahead of most stadiums.

I've been to 25+ pro stadiums and MB was the best experience hands down.
Second would be the Giants' stadium in San Fran

Funny you say this because there were complaints during the season last year that after the latest dome renovations the prices for food were higher, the lines were longer, and they were running out of food. The first issue they would need to deal with is stocking their inventory; but if they are selling out at the higher prices, wouldn't lowering prices just reduce their profits?
