Why do college defenses get gassed and pros don't?

Seattle was out there for ~100 plays with not much of a dropoff.

Because college players are worse and it's not their profession...

Because college players aren't living and breathing football for most of their work week. They have class and also free time to be kids because that's what they are. Kids. NFL players are grown men who get paid to play football for a living. So that's really their whole life outside of family and vacation time.

One group is paid to be super human athletes

The other group is paid to be athletes that go to Bogie's 3 nights a week and play football on the weekend

NFL is staged. Less wasted movement following a script.

Because most of them played nowhere near 100 plays outside of the Db's.

Especially the D Tackles Rubin & McDaniel on played approximately 50 snaps each.

The League is so specialized with run stoppers, pass rushers , Nickel & Dime packages.

Last Season N'Suh was one of only a handful of D Lineman to play over 75% of his team's snaps.

Most like the great conditioned NFL athletes like the 400 LB Ted Washington are waddling their fat behinds off the field & sucking oxygen after a play or 2.
