I know I am going to get downvoted to hell, this is LSU board and this thread will most likely get RA'd but I just have to ask, why does the Carolina Panthers making it this far generate so many threads about the Falcons? Yes, the Falcons could be the only NFC South team without a superbowl, but the Falcons nor the Panthers winning a superbowl has no long lasting effects on our day to day lives. Saints fans act like little kids when it comes to the Falcons and their fans. It's hilarious that they can be so fickle about it.

Oh, and the Falcons already had their superbowl when we prevented what could be a perfect season for the Panthers.

Look, this is the way sports work. People who take a certain sport super serious have hate in their heart for their teams biggest rivals. This is an LSU based message board. A lot of LSUfFans are Saints fans. Couple that with most of them being complete idiots and this is what you get. Anything else I can help with?

yes they are division rivals. the point is that i dont think raiders fans are talking shite to the chargers right now about the broncos success. maybe they are, though, i dunno

Yes, please post the picture of the superbowl ring that belongs to YOU. Also, post your jersey and your contract info with said ring.

We get it. Y'all won a championship 7 years ago. Congratulations. What's funny is that any time another NFL team brings up their past, Saints fans usually chime in with a "way to talk about the past dumbass" comment.

I think it goes both ways. It's just more prevalent here with Saints fans because there are so many of them.

well no, those teams are still trying to figure out where they're going to play next year. and fwiw, you're on a message board almost entirely comprised of fans of teams in the southeast. so you have the cowboys, falcons, saints, panthers, and titans ( ) for the most part represented here. you have more saints fan than anything, by far. it's the offseason for them, not a lot to talk about

There's plenty to talk about when it comes to Superbowl 50. Yet, for some ungodly reason, they would rather talk about the Falcons instead of the two teams actually playing in the superbowl.

i dont get it either. Then again i think there are maybe 5 rivalries in all of sports that are actually organic.

Saints v Falcons is forced. Saints fans overall have low IQ. Falcon fans are generally indifferent.

some fans want to talk about their team and their rivals more than a super bowl that their team isn't involved in
