Let’s assume that each player is in their prime. Half court nba jam format. Duo must be NBA teammates previously.

MJ and Pippen comes to mind(best perimeter duo). But how do they defend against Shaq and Kobe? Shaq inside is unstoppable against them. But Shaq is a defensive liability vs duos heavily relying on 3 pointers like Durant/Steph. I think Hakeem and Drexler is pretty versatile. Lebron/Wade athletic combo. Magic/Kareem very nasty.

Make it take it? Because if so, no one is stopping Shaq/Kobe.

Are we talking half court or full court? No way Shaq survives a full court game like that.

Are we take actual AGE of the duo in consideration?

Because 36 Lebron ain’t hanging with a young Kobe/Jordan full court

Lebron/AD would be way better half-court

Kobe/Shaq was in Shaq’s prime. He’d be fine.

Jordan and Hakeem. Jordan can cover any 1-3 and Hakeem can cover any 4-5. Both we’re DPOY winners/candidates and both could score 30 efficiently on any given night.

Well if in their primes and not the actual duo then why not have:

Shaq/Lebron?
Shaq/Wade?
Shaq/Malone?
Lebron/Wade?
Barkley/Drexler?
Duncan/Robertson?
Duncan/Kwahi?
Bird/Maravich?

Etc etc

Shaq and Lebron have played with a ridiculous number of all-stars/HOF’ers
