have to say Auburn is totally shitty. Off subject but they always screw the pooch when people think they are going to do well.

dominating win for LSU but it won't mean much to their season

I would disagree with this statement. LSU is better, Bama is not.

Honestly Im not overly impressed with either

Bama had a lot of turnovers yesterday, Coker came in later in the game, overthrew his receivers half the time, and Bama still almost came back. Ole Miss had a freak play that bounced their way for a touchdown and almost lost. So Im obviously not overly impressed with Ole Miss either.

Auburn is just not a great team. LSU played well they have a great O-line, an amazing RB, but (and this is a huge but) if anyone can stop the run and we have to rely on Brandon Harris I'm not super confident in that outcome.

We will see how the rest of the year plays out

What more do you want LSU to do? They've beaten two division rivals without a tuneup game. Have had better qb play. The most dominant running game in college football. Explosive players around him. A suffocating defense.

The punting game is average.

Not overly impressed with LSU.

I say this as an LSU homer:

Until we get back over he hump and actually beat them, they are better.

"better" =/= "good"

Dural, our leading pass catcher, has 42 yards receiving in 2 games.

We have had 95 running plays on the year and attempted 31 passes. We have completed 21 of those passes for an average of 4.68 yards per catch.

I never said we have a poor defense or poor running game I simply said I am worried about our passing game.

be somewhat of a threat in the passing game to avoid being one dimensional

LSU has faced two SEC West teams to start off, and Fournette has averaged over 8 yards per carry.

LSU does have threats in the passing game, and now get its rent-a-wins that everyone else has had, and will develop Harris more as a passer.

To say LSU hasn't been impressive is just dumb.

I am confident that Harris will do great when ASKED to throw the ball more.

I agree Fournette is amazing I said it in my first post, but Fournette can't play QB too...which is the whole point I'm making

LSU has always had athletes - we had OBJ, Jarvis, Jeremy Hill, and Mett all on one team. Talent has never been the issue. It using them the right way that is the issue (and getting them the ball).

that sure is a mouthful with LSU's stellar history of developing QBs. Not to mention have you ever watched LSU in a "rent-a-win" game as you call it? What do they do? Run the ball almost the whole time bc those teams cannot stop it. Then the first string gets taken out.

FWIW I am hoping you are right and that Harris develops well, but you are basing your reasoning on assumptions.

Bama. They have a better coach, Les Miles is good for about 2 losses on his own.
