I saw corey webster play twice in the Top 28, I saw tweety play about 20 times from 8th-12th grade

corey is a great athlete but he wasnt much of a basketball player imo

Tweety was a great basketball player

Laron Landry...he made my cousin black out for close to a minute one game. He was one bad MOFO.

I agree with this observation, only I would refer to Warrick Dunn at Catholic. Wiener's offense: Warrick left, Warrick right, Warrick off tackle.

more like 100 yrds from the first 2 plays from scrimmage. if you remember acadiana had that siren that went off every time. i could still heree that siren for a week when i would try to go to sleep. are u a hc grad?

Right!!

Raider Grad, was there watching my buddy coach. At the time I was in school at UL. I am still waiting to see Moncell play some more at UK. From what I hear, he could run across a Gym floor and barley make a sound. Pretty impressive, considering it normally sounds like a bull in a china shop!

yea im good friends with moncell and dicky. both are having great springs. dicky's knee has been real sore and he missed a couple of practices but hes fine and moncell has been moved from FB to HB where he belongs. its looking like he may receive bulk of carries. he was running over everyone at their last scrimmage

Paul Ott Carruth, played at Parklane in McComb, MS, went to Alabama to play for da bear, then off to Green Bay.

Saw Doug Williams years ago (dating myself ). Could throw the ball through a wall, if he could hit it. Accuracy obviously got a lot better.

Chad Lavalais played for our rival, marksville, and was a man among boys. mcneese state has a safety named jamelle juneau thats from here. he played virtually every down in hs. QB, DB and special teams. that was probably the best four year run bunkie ever had. he may play pro ball

He led my middle school team to an 8-0 season

But other than him i'd say Early. We were playing them in the state quarterfinals and single-handedly beat us. He played quarterback the entire game, and then lined up at wr and caught the game winning touchdown. For some reason we didn't double cover him

Mike Miley was the best high school player I ever saw... and would have been an all-pro quarterback if he had chosen to stay in that position.

Played against St. Amant High when Butch Pierre and Hot Rod Williams and Greg Perkins played for them. Got it handed to us. Unbelievable the talent on that team. Butch went to Miss. St. Rod to Tulane then the NBA and Greg played a year at LSU. Perkins was the most unbelievable athlete you've ever seen. Was about 6'0" and could high jump 6'9". Could jump out of the gym. He blocked one of my shots that still causes me to twitch every so often. I also watched Howard Carter play for Redemptorist. Tyrone black play for Capital. I played against Derrick Taylor when he was at Redemptorist. I watched Johnny Jones and Butch go at it in a playoff game once.

Easily the best I've ever seen. It really is a shame that he blew out his knee so badly.

He was able to make it to the NBA basically playing on one good knee.
