if they win out they will be in a BCS bowl, the Rose if Penn State is in the BCS CG.

Yea, there is no possible way we end up in the Alamo I don't think. We'd have to lose 2 more games, which probably won't happen.
Regardless, with your logic it looks like we could see a Texas/OSU matchup in the alamo

Correct, and if not I would say the CapOne bowl. I don't think there's a chance of being in the Alamo bowl unless they drop 2 of the last 3 against Northwestern, Illinois, and Michigan. Worst case scenario would be Outback bowl I think.
