A team not in the preseason top 15 that has a favorable schedule and talent to make a splash.

For me, its OU.

Vegas win total is 10.5.

Favored in 11 games according to Phil Steele and others.

Easiest schedule they have had in over 20 years. No P5 non-conference and avoid K State, Baylor and Texas Tech.

Still have a top 8 composite talent ranking, including a top 3 class last year.

I know it might sound ridiculous after going 6-7, but every loss was under 5 points and 2 of those were without Dillon Gabriel.

I have them going 11-1 and winning the B12 and getting in the playoff.

OU has been in the playoffs, so they couldn’t be this years TCU.

You sure about that? Wasn't one of those losses 49-0?

I don't think Venables gets a third season.

Not many teams fit this criteria but I’ll go Wisconsin. They get OSU at home and should be favored in the other 11. It never seems to work out for some reason but they might actually have a useful QB this year.

The easy answer is that there won’t be one.

I suppose Oregon State is a good answer. Maybe Utah. UNC should be a popular answer but I think they underachieve again.

You mean easy schedule, overblown praise, only to get blown out and waste everyone's time?

Sounds like a Lincoln Riley team.

Everyone saying OU...

But, he at USC...so USC.
