No LeBron answers please.

This article inspired this thread:

I have felt for a while that Romo gets bashed too much, and this guy articulates the point very well.

So yeah, I'm going with Romo.

ROMO is the most overhyped athlete I have ever seen........... And YES he gets what he deserves........ If you put Manning[either one] or Brees, or Rogers, or Brady, That team maks the playoffs and WINS games..........

and, of course, critics love to cite Romo's 1-3 career mark in the postseason as evidence of his overall inferiority. Incidentally, Matt Ryan, 1-4 in the playoffs, isn't held to the same standard.

That's a flat out lie. Stopped there. Another homo for Romo article and rant.

Jeter could be in mix
A lot of people like to criticize him because he isn't the best defender, nor has he been the best SS, but because he plays for Yankees and therefore is over rated.

Yet at end of day he has
- 72.3 career WAR (3rd highest active players)
- .313 career BA good for 79th overall
- .382 career OBP good for 160th overall
- 2586 games played 40th all time
- 1869 runs scored 13th all time
- 3305 hits 11th all time
- 4724 total bases 31st all time
- 524 doubles 39th all time

Not bad

I disagree. Jeter is an ALL-TIMER I dare anyone to say he is not....... He is clean and plays the game the way its supposed to be played.............. Just gets up every day to do his job.. And does it well.... MOST WANT to be a Yankee to get noticed...... Jeter is one of the ultimate Yanks.............

Serena would be up there...

There's such a large camp out there that loves to disparage her because of issues having nothing to do with tennis...and they cloak their personal disdain by either living in the past or complaining about PEDs or she underachieved with her talent b/c of laziness or indifference.

See big caps poster in this thread for full example.

LeBron James, and it ain't even close. He's the only NBA player who is judged to have a bad season if his team doesn't win the championship. And people destroy him over offhanded comments he made years earlier (like after Miami lost in the Finals a few years ago and he said his life would be fine regardless) The guy is an elite offensive and defensive player, he works hard, has a good attitude, isn't a coach killer and he's not a thug.

Seriously, PJ? Tony Romo does more for that team than they deserve. I agree with Sophandros. I will also throw Reggie Bush in there as well.
