Danny Manning and it's not close. Won his team a title.

Recent memory? Anthony Davis. His defensive performance in the NC was pretty damn incredible.

Laettner was a pretty good one as well.

I was watching some Chris Jackson youtube videos earlier today. He put up FIFTY-THREE in his first ever road conference game at Florida. I don't think that has ever been duplicated.

LINK

Magic Johnson dominated games in a different way. He was in total control of the game and never put up huge numbers but made everyone else around him better.

I just don't agree with that at all. Davis was awesome but Beasley put up fricking 26 and 12.

Tayshaun Prince was a really good college player. Underrated.

This thread is about who you saw. If you are just talking about all time than Pete Maravich was by far the greatest college basketball player ever.

The UK fans picking Anthony Davis is a true shocker, I'm glad I'm sitting down.

The Big 12 had a ridiculous stretch of players with KD, Beasley and Griffin.

Jay Williams would be my homer pick. I watched my favorite Duke game, their win over Maryland in the 2001 Final Four, and he was averaging around 28 points and 5 assists or some shite like that.

From my lifetime, the best I remember watching was Jay Williams. He was just a dominant force and every time I watched him play, he played with so much poise and control. He was a great floor general but could score with the best of them. Just a great player.
