I remember reading that he got like 8 million in a settlement from ESPN after he injured his eye

He's so brave.
On a serious note, calling someone brave who has an illness always bothered me. It's not like they chose it. If you volunteered for cancer in order to save someone else's life, that would be brave. Getting treatment and dealing with it the best you can is getting treatment and dealing with it the best you can.

He is the one of the main reasons I no longer watch ESPN outside of actual games. But, here's to him and his fight against cancer. He's keeping a great upbeat attitude.

Just watched the Kobe highlights...so awful. He made it sound like he dominated, but he shot 2-9 and his team lost. Not a single highlight for the Raptors, who won the game.
