kind of surprised Auburn is getting a lot of nods.
their schedule is tougher and they don't seem to do as well when they are supposed to.
the preseason hype type of thing.
i'll never forget when they were looking good according to most heading into 2003 and then proceeded to go 8-5.
not many had them doing much in 2010 when they won the whole thing.
I don't know, just feels like a trap to me. Probably wrong and just nitpicking though.

Same was said before. "Bama didn't even win their division and play for the SEC championship. No way can they go to the BCS Title game!" Then Saban gets on TV DURING the SECCG and begs for a spot and boom...it is done.
Alabama earned their spot in the game. There's no sense in not giving them credit for what they accomplished that season.

There should be a selection show where the #1 team gets to pick their semifinal opponent and game site. I'd love to see Athletic Director Emeritus Harvey Updyke say on national tv "We elect to play the Oklahoma Sooners in the Sugar Bowl Raww Tahhhd!"

Big 12 will be interesting. Will Tejas be back, OU potentially the best but they have Stoops, Baylor has to go to OU & Tejas. Okie State shouldn't be overlooked.
