I expected the Cardinals to be better with an actual QB, a WR core that's not just Fitz by himself and the honey badger on a defense that's young and improving.

They have won 7 of the last 8, and it should be 8 of 8 except the Eagles game were they got frickED by the refs. Seriously...you expected them to be better than 10-5 in this division? I don't think you realize how good they really are right now. If they get in the playoffs they have a great chance of winning it all....they are the hottest team in the NFL after all.

Not sure the answer to the OP, but I don't think the chiefs could have done what the Cards did today. That was an impressive win at Seattle.

I am telling you......if the Cards get into the playoffs they will be dangerous and NOBODY will want to play them!

If you mean improved from last year, its gotta be the Chiefs.
If you mean most improved since the start of this season, its gotta be the Carolina Panthers who started out 1-3.

Depends how you look at it. The Saints went from one of the worst defenses ever to fielding a top 5 unit. KC obviously with the nice record turnaround, or AZ/Carolina with the in season improvements.

Cardinals, no bias here.

The Chiefs. Not only taking into account their record last season, but I honestly thought Andy Reid would not make things better.

Panthers, easily.

I thought Rivera should have been fired after last year, and that he would be the first coach fired this year by a wide margin.

The Ravens have surprised me also, considering all they lost.

Chiefs being good isn't that surprising to me...they won 10 games a couple of years ago with a healthy Jamaal Charles, and their D was pretty good last year. Haley/Crennel were just awful coaches.

Kansas City was expected to be better than Arizona this year, their Vegas win total was 2 games better (8 vs 6).

Therefore I say Arizona.

Only three teams really come to mind.

Chiefs - The obvious one, but everybody knew they had a ton of talent and they had an easy arse schedule. 4 games against Raiders/Chargers, their two divisions they played were the pathetic NFC East and pathetic AFC South, and they drew the Bills/Browns as their randoms given their record from the previous year. Kind of similar to the Saints in this regard except the NFC South did cross over with the toughest division in football.

Panthers - Went and watched them on Thursday night last year at home against the NYG. They looked atrocious. Granted, they were beat up some on D, but their DBs looked like the least talented in the league and their O was a complete joke. They've really gotten healthy and improved their talent on D. Their offense is unquestionably going to lose them a game in the playoffs.

Eagles - Their OL looked like one of the worst in the league last year and their D wasn't much better. I thought Chip Kelly was going to fall flat on his face with Vick. Foles has played well and Kelly was better than I gave him credit for in the offseason.

I'm going with the Eagles (post Nick Foles beginning to play).. That offense has balled out under Foles. And he won me my fantasy league, so I can't complain.
