Player B averages: 25pts, 7 asts, 5 rebs, 46% FG, 38% 3P%

depends on what their role and salary is. If you're getting player A numbers from a rookie/low paid guy, and player B numbers from a chucker like Carmelo making 30 mill on a bad team, then you'd pick A

Same position?

How about defense, specifically on ball?

Are they both the #1 option?

Does player B play in an offense that uses more possessions per game than player A?

What are their per possession statistics?

Assuming they play play the same position... Player A.

He is getting his points on less shots.

Over the course of a season the higher shooting percentage make up for the assists and the points.

They play the same position, they're both number one options, player B's defense is better but neither are defensive stoppers

Does player A write "SPG" and "HOF" on his shoes... because you can't have that.

44% on over 5 (basically 6) attempts per game the last two years.

So, one of the best.

I'd take player B's last 15 games.

What if you're going to pay Player A $6M over this year and next year, but Player B will cost you $48M over the next two years?
