As the title states, when all is said and done, which of these will be seen as better QB's than Andrew Luck over the course of their careers in your estimation

Phillip Rivers
Eli Manning
Andy Dalton
Tony Romo
Russell Wilson
Derrick Carr
Cam Newton

EDIT- none of them once it's all said and done for Andrew Luck. He has 10 more years of seasons like last year hopefully and will go to some Super Bowls...

Probably all of them. Andrew Luck couldn't hit his wide receivers with a beachball.

Cam, as long as he stays with a Championship level team like the Panthers.

They will likely all have stats ... so, it will come down to rings.

Eli
Russell
Cam

Seem to be the obvious choices.

Rivers is almost done. No rings.

Romo still has a shot at a ring, perhaps. But, his career is winding down ... plus, the injuries.

I don't see the Raiders winning squat anytime soon.

Dalton is in cursed Cincy.

Cam is about to have the same number of Rings as Peyton in less than two weeks.

Eli has two. Hard to imagine that Luck will have more than two.

Yeah it was almost like he was injured or something...

Maybe he can get Dalvin "33 yards" Cook to shore up the rushing game.

I think the only argument is Cam or Eli. Luck still has a lot of years left.

Yeh, lets not include the guy who had 4,000 yards, 34 tds, and a 110 rating who is the same age as luck. Oh yeh that guy already has a super bowl ring and career passer rating of 101. No argument can be made for that guy.

It is time this board accepts the fact Rus has been clearly better than Luck. Just accept it

Maybe the Colts could draft a speech therapist in the first round and trade for a doctor who can teach Luck the purpose of having opposable thumbs.

I mean Russel the Hustle is a done deal. Same age:

The Hustle: 16,404 career yards, 118 tds, 65% completion percentage, 45 turnovers, rating of 101.8. Already has a super bowl win and appearance

The cro-magnon: 15,939 yards, 113 tds, 58% completion percentage, 66 turnovers, rating of 85

I still think Luck will end up with a better career. Luck needs a few pieces to fall around him like they did for Russ. And I'm not shitting on Russ. I think he's a phenomenal QB. But Luck is still once in a a few generations IMO. A QBs best friend is a great defense. Ask Peyton. Hell, ask Drew Brees.

Well, for individual stats I would say the competition you face is the biggest hurdle. And Luck has played in arguably the worst division in football while Wilson has played in arguably the best.

I think people thought this, and they refuse to let it die out. I dont see Luck as this at all

Peyton wholeheartedly agrees ... as does Trent Dilfer.

Cam,Eli & Wilson.

It's too early to judge Derrick Carr imo

For winning games, yes. But a good defense only marginally helps your individual stats. The best thing for your stats is playing weaker competition. And Luck has played the weakest
