My bad. You are correct. Oregon St. finished #4 and #5 in 2000. It was Oregon who finished #2 in 2001.

And, by the same token, should not in the case of USC and the Pac-10 during this current run. Get over your paranoia. LSU currently can stand on their own accomplishments over the past five years. You shouldn't be so sensitive of discussions involving times prior to that.
