To take McNeese who hadn't finished .500 or above since 2011 and was 11-23 last year to 30-3 in first season is something a handful of coaches could do. Not to mention his top 10 classes and finish 2019 and 2 seed shows that he can do this at a top conference.

Where does he end up? Think Louisville would take him?

he will end up at NC State or Louisville or somewhere like that soon.

If he wants he'll have a new job next year, but it's really just whatever he wants to do.

the turnaround is impressive, but thats how the transfer portal goes. Louisville needs him but apparently they have their eyes on Musselman

Our AD hinted yesterday at the press conference that anyone with NCAA baggage will not be considered.

That would concern me as a fan. The NCAA has been neutered and coaches like that have shown great success at their next stops (Wade, Pearl, Sampson, etc.)

That would be ironic seeing as Cal was IMHO one of the main combatants, if not the main one, working in the shadows to take him down.

Which program values regular season success over tournament success? Maybe Texas?
