Gateway Player of the Decade

Beat out
Kurt Warner
Sean Payton
Jay Johnson
and a lot of NFL guys for that award was two time all Gateway and OPOY was 1-aa POY in 90 for some services but didn't win the Payton Award, but should have.

He was RB coach at Syracuse this year.

The dude has been great at Navy and clearly elevated them but the creaming over him is too much. Greg Ward Jr. put up almost the exact same rushing stats this season but threw for 1500 more yards.

In a more QB friendly offense. This offense is way more complicated than UH offense.

Yes I saw Dobbs. But he isn't as good as Reynolds. I'm not saying Dobbs is terrible

The guy rushed for a 1,000 and passed for a 1,000 plus broke the single season record for runs by a qb (which Reynolds has since broken). He's one of the best to play the position imo.

GWJr runs a spread option not a triple option. He's thrown it 304 times compared to Reynolds 98 (before the bowl game).

I don't think people should place spread option QBs with triple option QBs in the same category. Way too big of an advantage for the spread QBs due to passing amounts.

Reynolds will finish his career with 8600 total yards (had a 47 yard catch today) and 119 TDs.

A QB or RB will have to average exactly 22 rush TDs per year, FOR FOUR YEARS, to just match him. Even with 15 games max that seems like a tall task.

If the question is all time greats, like this thread, how can you not?

Masoli may have been better than Dixon at Oregon. Mariota is the best Oregon QB, even Fouts in terms of CFB.

any list that doesn't include Dee Dowis is worthless.

I would take Dixon in a heart beat over Masoli. The latter's height made throwing from the pocket very difficult.

I wish we could have Adams for another year and fully healthy. Dude is a gamer.

f you're going to put Tebow and Young into this rank, they have to be on top of the list. Otherwise they shouldnt be on there

because they won championships?
tebow did not do nearly as much as the Navy QB has to.

Wasn't talking about the OP, but the thread inside this thread. Marcus Mariota and Tim Tebow can't be put in the same category with Keenan Reynolds or other triple option QBs.

It's so rare to have a great triple option QB, but these dual threat spread QBs are abundant now.
