I think Miss State should be #5

I would have them top 3 with Auburn and FSU to be honest.

ETA -
1. Mississippi State. Or Auburn. tGrind won in Tiger Stadium at night, but it's also hard to argue with what Auburn is doing to LSU right now. I'll take Miss. St. based off the eye test and because I'm picking them to win next week in Starkville.

2. Auburn

3. FSU - no impressive wins. Wake is bad.

That't actually not that far fetched.

Their are several teams in the 10-20 range in trouble today.

Already lost
Stanford
BYU
Wisky

Could Lose
LSU
USC
Nebraska

Ohio st is currently #18 in the coaches polls. It could happen. Only TCU could jump them.

Its one of those seasons man. You don't know who is going to be were in the next polls.

Baylor has not beaten a team with a winning record yet. They have an Aggie style OOC schedule.I left them at 7 because they are the only top 10 team that's completely untested yet.

I agree but remember Texas was ranked to start the year.

I bumped Baylor up based off of the obvious media bias in proving themselves right. If they hadn't just beat a perceived national power they'd be 6 at best.

Oregon should be above Michigan St. Yeah that loss is terrible, but they're really depleted by injuries and Arizona was basically gifted the game with terrible officiating

Its official, this is going to be a 2007 clusterfrick making to committees job hard as hell.

Some Quotes from Espn

Why should FSU be ranked #1? Last year shouldn't count it's half way through the season

Well Duh, but thats the way it has always been. Why do you think the committee isn't going to use the AP or the Coaches polls in their selections.

1) Media oulets shouldn't even do poll until week 6. They just do the power rankings like they do for NFL teams until then. Those fluctuate more than polls do. Ole Miss and Miss St would probably be 1 and 2 in a weekly power ranking but that's not how polls work.

2) Bama would of jumped us, if they had beaten Ole Miss.

I can live with this... However I would put MISS St. at #2. They have more impressive wins than FSU.
