I don't pretend to know but aren't we seeing this because they (whoever "they" are) got rid of flex scheduling?
Posted on 9/29/16 at 4:36 pm to SabiDojo
I have no idea. I thought they could still flex good matchups to Sunday night.

If the NFL keeps complaining about its ratings then they need to start giving us better prime time matchups bc so far this year we've had
So everyone bitches when the good and marketable teams take all the primetime slots, and everyone bitches when there is a diversity of teams. There is just no pleasing some people.
Personally, I watch more sunday afternoon NFL so I couldn't care less who's playing on Thursday/Monday

I actually like these new lesser QB matchups. Maybe it will look more like real football and not Arena Leage/Air Raid BS that people just need to see for their beloved fantasy teams.

Yeah, that's how I was remembering it a few years ago when MNF was nothing but the Packers, Pats, etc.

Dallas, New York, NE, Washington, GB, Peyton

I would watch more if it wasn't just Dallas, GB, and Peyton!!!!

To the schedule complainers...

How would you organize the schedule? ETA: Keep in mind that schedules are released in April.

Who hasn't enjoyed watching the Pats and GB and Peyton?
The only complaining I've seen is about the NFC East because they've been horrible.

First of all I don't agree with the Browns vs Prescott. He has proven to be a good QB, and clearly they were expecting RG3 to pull in some viewers.
The issue I have is that this game is t on primetime TV like CBS or NBC, whichever it usually is. It's on NFL Network only, so screw them

The Saints don't belong in primetime. They are 0-3. The game wasn't won by either QB, it was won by defense and the running game.
It was over long before the clock hit zero and I would have much rather watched a different game. You clearly didn't watch that game if you thought those two QB's were fun to watch.

Hoyer hasn't played for the Browns in 2 years. Dallas played Chicago

There really aren't any bad games in the NFL.

The NFC East hasn't been horrible save for like one season. People just like to bitch and complain

Ha, wow. My bad.
Still Cutler vs Romo preseason isn't a bad matchup

No doubt, 2 good QBs in 2 huge markets. If both had played, the ratings would have been higher. Also, Dallas would have been a 2-0 team at the time with Romo

Well Thursday night is historically known for the weeks big match ups, I'm not sure how they dropped the ball this week.

Marketable doesn't always mean good. Dallas was horrible last year and gets a ton of primetime slots. I don't give a shite about market size or biggest fanbase. If (for instance) Jacksonville vs Atlanta was the best matchup of the weekend, that's the game I want on Monday night.
