MIchael Sam was not another straight athlete with his girlfriend. He was a gay athlete attempting to break down barriers and he should have broken these barriers slower than just busting out and feeding cake to his boyfriend and rubbing frosting all over each others faces on national TV. I get what you're saying, but it also just shows the difference in the way gay people are treated by the public. If it was a hot girl, none of us would care. Most of us would be jealous.
