And other MLB star's with the stipulation that they will not be walked more than other college players and play the amount of games a good college team would.

I don't think either would ever make an out in a sunday game.

Rymes hit .500 for the majority of a season. Altuve would clean up. I am going to say .600

Assuming he wouldn't get walked every AB, those numbers are an insult to Trout.

shite, if it was some of those west coast teams instead of the SEC, they would probably be laying down sac bunts left and right.

Rickie Weeks batted .473 @ Southern and was a .250 hitter in the bigs. I think .500 is fair for Altuve, with .600 being a stretch IMO.

Are you talking about if the current players played college ball or back when they were college aged?

Better question.

How would they do against Cal St. Fullerton?

They had the lowest ERA.

In fact, there's only two teams from the SEC in the Top 25 era from last year.

SEC isn't a pitching conference, it's a power batting conference. That's how UCLA was able to win the title doing absolutely nothing on offense - pitching wins championships just like MLB.

UCLA is one data point though. Good teams win championships. LSU teams that have won the CWS absolutely mashed. And speaking of the MLB, the Royals won the WS last year with a medicore at best staff (albeit with a great bullpen).
