Opposing teams will no longer have the right to use the forward pass

5-A schools whined & complained about 1A-2A enrollment schools spanking them & forced them to drop down.

Now all the blame goes to small division schools ? Complete bs.

Y'all are sad. Just let the kids play football and quit blaming one school on a VOTE that passed. I don't think Winnfields principal went into the meeting and gave everyone the people's elbow and then submitted everyone into voting for the split. I mean come on. Get over it.

Winnfield = scape goat for a larger problem.

Let's turn our brains off, repeal the split, make schools play within their enrollment, put Curtis back into Class AA and let the winner of the AA title be known before the season even starts.

We tried to let the kids just play football in the past, but adults like the Winnfield principal were the the ones who got in the way. The fact that she complained so much about it is the reason Winnfield is now despised in south Louisiana. She was the main antagonist in this mess. I feel sorry for the kids of that school having such a whiner as their head.

And I agree with you. It was fine the way it was. But now the rules have changed. This is now the set up everyone competes in. So let it go and do the best you can to win your bracket. Everyone just needs to stop all the bitching. It's ruining the fun of any playoffs at all. No matter what the format.

That is so ridiculous. What's the point of having an opinion then? I really hope you aren't into politics. That's just the way things are, deal with it. How does that sound? Instead of going along with stupidity, people need to speak out against it.

Think about this... No one said we needed to split except the principals... Not coaches, not ad 's, not politicians, not fans, not the kids

No I'm not in politics. And not being able to cope with the way things are is what's ridiculous. You must live a mad little life if you speak out against all stupidity

There were several instances in Acadiana area where the head coach at a public school didn't want the split, but the principal voted for it anyway.

This isn't going to stop with just football, though. I remember the principal for a public school in Acadia Parish going on a letter writing campaign after the girls' basketball team lost in the finals to John Curtis a couple years ago. Nevermind his school's girls team had won 2 state championships over the past 5-6 years. John Curtis got in the way of a 3rd, and he got all pissy.

Now that I understand that you have a simple mind, I realize this argument is over.

I really can't wait for the full split. I want to see how all those North LA public schools deal with propping up all the South LA public schools in their league.
