What pick do you want a team to make? NBA Draft

I want the Magic to take Justise Winslow. He's probably my favorite player in the draft. He fits in with what the Magic are doing and he can actually shoot which would be weird for them. The main reason is because Elfrid and Justise's hair game would tear the club up.

I also want the 76ers to draft Willie Cauley-Stein just because.

DeAngelo Russell for the Sixers. I think he's an elite point guard. They don't really need to focus on another big yet. I think they are set with a future superstar in Embiid and Noel can be the defensive enforcer next to him. At that point, the big need will be a wing scorer, and I could see them offering a guy like Khris Middleton the max or close to it. Then you just wait a few years and add some depth.

I'd probably be surprised if the Knicks didn't take Mudiay.

I want the 76ers to fail so mouthbreathers will stop talking about how the only way to rebuild is by tanking for multiple seasons.

Well it pretty much is. You need stars to win a championship. If you can't trade for one or lure one in free agency, then tanking is the only way to get one.

And chances are that people will hate your team more if your stars aren't "homegrown."

You either form a super team in a big market or build around a star you drafted in the lottery.

Mario Hezonja to the 76ers so he can get off 20 shots a game.

I really hope Towns can "fall" to Lakers. He and Randle would be nasty front court

Others:
Cauley-Stein to Kings, let Cousins play more PF
Kaminksy to Jazz: Stretch 4 next to Gobert..FAP
Dekker to OKC

I think Okefor will be a stud. I like Towns but the Lakers could end up getting the best player in this class. Reminds me of when Aldrige slipped because he wasn't considered a great defender.

Do you like that pick?

I've said on this board that I value WCS over Okafor and been ripped for it. But I think building around a defensive big man with limited offense is way smarter than building around a flashy offensive big man who is useless defensively.

This is an interesting point. I just have a hard time seeing Okafor becoming Aldridge good. I think he is just missing all kinds of athleticism and instincts.

Bulls - Tyus Jones

This would make me happy.

I think Okafor will be better than Townes if Okafor goes to L.A. and Townes to Min.
