There are a few good non SEC OOC games.
Texas USC
Oklahoma Ohio State
USC Norte Dame
Those 3 stand out more than any other. I have to say the SEC schools in 2017 may be playing a tougher OOC schedule than non SEC schools

Michigan vs. Florida should be entertaining, though Michigan lost a lot.

OU @ OSU
Nebraska @ Oregon (want to see if Taggart has a good first year). Interesting in names at least.

Why Va Tech over Pitt or was Va Tech game scheduled before Pitt left for the ACC and West Virgina left for the Big XII.

Truthfully I remember some good Pitt/ West Virginia games. 2007 and 2011 for instance but only West Virgina/ Va Tech I remember was 99 with Micheal Vick.
I believe West Virgina almost won that game if my memory is correct

I'm so torn on Notre Dame. I love the tradition, stadium, uniforms, and everything else that goes along with it. But it gets annoying how over-hyped and overrated they get every single time they have a somewhat decent season only to get destroyed in bowl games against legit teams.

Well interest in ND has declined slightly due to a change in demographics. You have very few First and second generation Irish Catholic immigrants anymore. Still as we saw in 2012 when ND is in position to win a National Championship ND fans come out.

The USC/ ND game may not be interesting to some when the teams suck but for a lot of American college football fans that is the greatest game and will still be the greatest game on the college football schedule no matter the records.
That game is huge for recruiting purpose in California. People outside of California to do not understand how many great recruits come out of the Catholic high schools here in the state. USC has been able to keep pretty much every one of them except for rare occurances.

Texas-OU. Both new HCs; both very offensive minded. Could be a great shootout.

Penn State @ Ohio State.

Clemson vs Florida State.
