For the size school and community NSU has pretty good support.
Football is a bit down right now due to lack of success but still gets comparable support with other FCS schools of the same size.
Basketball attendance is on an upswing with some good success.
For the most part the city of Natchitoches supports the school pretty well. The athletic department is also well run and does quite well with limited resources.
