ESPN End of Millenium Video

Other than Rich Eisen having hair?

What is strange is this thing is 17 years old.

Them calling Paterno a sage then.

Maybe not the pinnacle but the most needed at the time. I don't consider that even the most impressive thing of those Olympic Games. Eric Heiden winning all 5 Gold Medals in Speed Skating is just flat out insane and will never be duplicated. He won the Sprints, middle distance, distance, and marathon. I think Jansen was paid back for that in Calgary and Albertville though, unfortunately.

He is ahead of Phelps just because of that, IMO, but he never got the media credit or love.

The 1994 NY Rangers winning the Stanley Cup.

I grew up just outside NYC and was crying like a baby when they won it. Great series.

It had been 54 years since the Rangers had won it and they were taunted relentlessly as a "cursed" franchise for years.

Youtube of final 34seconds... The Garden was rocking

oh wait I cant do that any more

I watched that game 7 in a bar in Dallas. I was an unhappy young man that day. I think it was the Messier influence which caused me to hate Richter (and his goofy looking mask), which then made me disrespect Leech.
