im not defending puigs play at all. i am arguing against the notion that he does have this horrible attitude problem that is holding him back though

I think it speaks volumes about Puig's attitude that the Dodgers were trying to unload him at the deadline and are now trying to humiliate him by sending him down to the minors. Puig is 25 years old. He's under team control for 3.5 more years. He has a career 134 wRC+ and 132 OPS+. A player must be an enormous cancer for a team to want to get rid of him with all of things in his favor.

That's still one of the more impressive throws I've ever seen.

I mean, you kinda just defined him as being lazy.

I wonder if the Dodgers will put him on waivers and if a deal can be worked out.

I'm sure several teams will claim him, his contract is not bad, he is young, and when healthy he has produced above the league average.

Can't wait until that cancer is out of LA. I couldn't stand him even in his rookie year. I don't care if he swam from Havana to LA. His attitude sucks and always seemed to screw up when it mattered. I hope he doesn't get traded to Cincinnati (I'm a Reds and Dodgers fan). The Reds front office would give up three picks and five AAA prospects for him.

Along of people in this thread clearly don't watch baseball. Puigs demotion has nothing to do with his production, it is actually been good. Better than the guy they are replacing him with actually. This is a case of the Dodgers being tired of putting up with his shite

The story of how he got here is one of the most fricked up things I've ever read.
