I can't tell if I like it or not...

It's kinda like the MSB. Nothing but odd clips and the hosts laughing at other people's misfortune, with a small amount of actual sports talk mixed in.

It's become a more serious combination of sports nation and first take.

It's been transforming into a shitty mixture of Sportscenter, Sportsnation, and The Soup for a few years now. Slowly but surely the highlights with actual statistics/facts as talking points are being pushed aside by social media posts, random clips, and the anchors doing their best to land one-liners that fit in with their individual shtick. Sportscenter is like some awful celebrity tabloid show for athletes. I still like some of the anchors, but a lot try way too hard and lack professionalism, IMO. Not their fault though as the big shots at ESPN clearly embrace the new direction of the show

Lucky for them there's little competition, so I still watch it multiple times a week

These anchors were giving their opinions on stuff tonight. That's first take material and I don't like it

Yep. It's a shame. Definitely not the SC I grew up watching in the mornings

Ok, what about Deflategate, Spygate, Pedro Gomez on the Barry Bonds steroid scandal, McGwire and Sosa, a-rod...I can go on and on. They focus on the NBA right now because THERE IS NOTHING ELSE GOING ON

The NHL is left alone, and sorry to you, pvilleguru and bagsofmilk, but there aren't any ratings to be found from that well. The fricker is dry in regards to at least half of America.

Unfortunately this is just false.

Whoops, damn those 400K SC voters!!! Too bad they lost the NHL to NBC, so all those SC viewers that prefer the NHL playoffs by almost 10% more than any other playoff, don't watch ESPN's shitty coverage.

ESPN's quality as a whole has gone down the drain but it doesn't matter cause people will always watch. It's like the E channel but with sports now. I don't watch anything on there besides games and 30 for 30 and haven't for a while.

Also a bit worried about 30 for 30 now that Simmons is gone.
