If George can increase his offensive efficiency, he can be a mid 20's PPG scorer.

But he's been in the league for 3 years. Yes, still 22, but he played 38MPG this year, and his efficiency decreased. shite next season he'll be considered a young veteran. In the NBA these days, kids move fast; and when you are a star, you get better when your role increases.

I still fail how to see that is a sign that he is a breakout superstar. Next season will be huge for him. A jump in improvement will be a great thing for him. If he stalls, then what? How many years does he get?

He's toolsy, no doubt, and at times has great flashes. Come on though!

Ok he's tied for 87th in PER at 16.84...Boozer is ahead of him.

He's also 37th in value added which I don't fully understand but all the "stars" are at the top of that list.

I like the guy. He's sometimes fun to watch. I hope he can take his game to the next level but in no way is he a star. And there's a pretty hefty jump needing to be made before he gets there.

Unless he's just handed star status by everyone. Which is ironic as hell.

I know what you were saying...and you're right. I just didn't realize George's was so low compared to the rest of the league.

Paul George reminds you guys of Tracy McGrady? That is the dumbest shite I've read this week on the MSB.

People on here are nothing but fad following sheep.

Paul George makes a few big time shots, and he all of the sudden reminds you of T-Mac? Get that garbage out of here.

Dammit I don't look at Chandler or Deng as stars.

I still think he's basically just a slightly more well-rounded Danny Granger.

Do people remember TMac in Toronto?

He was a defensive star. Blocking shots, getting steals.

He was basically viewed as the next Pippen (At least the Pippen to Vince Carter's Jordan on those Raptors teams)

Once he went to Orlando....thats when his offensive game took off.

Just think about this. He would have to double his PER to barely edge out Lebron. If he's a star what the hell is Lebron?

TMac wasn't a star in Toronto. Do you remember how good TMac was in Orlando?

He went to Orlando when he was 21 and averaged 27 PPG while shooting 46%. When he was 22 he averaged 26 PPG while shooting 45%. When he was 23 he led the NBA in scoring at 32 PPG while shooting 46%. After that the injuries started to pile up and he only played 70+ games in 2 of the next 7 seasons.

George is 23 and in his first year as the guy he scored 17 PPG while shooting 42%.

Comparing George to TMac when TMac was a star is a joke. Unless George starts dominating the ball on offense, becomes one of the best scorers of the decade, and decides to stop playing defense. So if he completely changes his game it would be a solid comparison.

Excited for the game tonight? I stayed in last game. I'll either be downtown or at a cookout/house party/bonfire thing tonight so try to troll me as little as possible. Because I will be biting tonight
