2nd round
#1 -vs- Highest seed left
#2 -vs- Lowest seed left
Wouldn't that push teams to want the #2 seed vs the top seed since both have byes in your format week 1? That seems silly.

It proved that Bama is head and shoulders better than every team in the country.

I will wait until they win before supporting this claim. I think Clemson is legit.

I think he meant it as #1 v #s 5 and 6 as opposed to #s 3 and 4.

So...Yeah. Should be 6 teams and would have been OSU and Stanford.

Iowa would be playing in the playoff if we expanded it to 6. Expanding it to 8 would include Notre Dame. That would be a joke.

4 is perfect. Adding anymore games devalues the regular season and you might have third stringers deciding a championship.

It's going to change every year. Last year needed 6 this year was good with 4. Next year may not even need it who knows.

I think the problem with 4 is your not even getting the 5 conference champs in. Plus, everyone knows there's always gonna be some 11-1 team that didn't make their champ game because of whatever circumstances. 6 is the number to me.

1-2 get byes
3-6 and 4-5 games

Then 1-low and 2- high seed.

They need to move them to New Year's Day. Ratings were down 40% from last year. Having games on New Year's Eve was just dumb

I just don't know how you take that away. MSU tried to outbama Bama without the talent LSU has. it's insane that you would look at 30 days of gamefilm and think "lets run at them"

Exactly.

Bama got a total bye - what ESPN wanted.

Anyone who knows anything about CFB - knows that MSU was the perfect matchup for Bama.

I love how MSU was suddenly switched to the #4 seed at the last hour - while that QB for Oklahoma would have Manzieled Alabama.

It tells me the BCS would have had it right yet again.

Last year the BCS would have been FSU vs Bama, how would that been right?

OSU had the first 2 TOs of that game and were down 21-6. Coming back and scoring 28 straight points isn't luck against a Bama defense.

It's amazing how good OSU looked at the end of the year, even in spite of some sloppy play. They got killed in the turnover battle against Oregon and still kicked their arse.
