What are your thoughts on FSU's football team this year?

I feel like nobody, here or in the media, is talking about this team...at all. I can't remember the last big time school, ranked in the top 10, who received this little attention.
I also think they're ranked WAY too high. I feel like there are easily 15 teams who would be favored over them at a neutral site. I know that could be said for plenty teams each year, and I don't know where I'd put them, but they seem a few notches below the top 10 teams this year. I kinda think they stink.

Far too early to tell anything. They haven't done anything to overly impress me but at the same time have given me no reason to think they are overrated.

Golston will throw 4 picks in a game vs someone like GT and they will lose by 14 at least once.

To me, they are a way worse version of last year's team. Which, would mean I think they're pretty bad. And it's not so much that I think they aren't top 15 material and suck. But when I think of teams who could compete in the playoff, they don't enter my mind. There are plenty teams that I think could compete in it, but not them. I don't think they would even have a chance for some reason.

Despite their record, they weren't that good last year. They'll drop 3 by the time it's all said and done.

They were a weird team last year and are again this year. IMO, they could have a better margin of victory this year but still not be as good as they were last year.
Their average margin of victory was 11.7 in games they won last year. That's horrible.

This wasn't meant to be a thread to pick on a good team that's ranked high, I legit think they are weird as hell this season. There are endless facts that could make this statement look retarded, but I don't think Jimbo is a very good coach. Or they don't like him or something. For all the talent that they've had, they seem to just be, blah. Like they're going through the motions, all the time. Obviously Cook is amazing, but he looks like the only guy on the field that gives half a shite.

Outside of quarterbacks it seems like a lot of fsu guys fall in draft. I felt like he didn't get the most out of a lot of people Eddie Goldman Mario Edwards christian jones to name a few

It was a joke. It's funny how much you've dismantled them in this thread.
They'll be ok. A lot of teams are in the top 10 right now mainly as placeholders. Fl St probably won't finish there bc their conference is weak and GT will probably win it, but Jimbo is a damn QB whisperer, so who knows.
