So, explain why it's ok to weekly bring up the Steph Curry excuse from YOU, but any time during that series the Paul injury was brought up, you tossed it aside.

That consistency, just something Boom needs to work on, get better at.

That's an understatement.

CLE won because of GS injuries. HOU won because of LAC injuries. So it is written, so it is done.

For everything I believe in, Curry should be the answer since the numbers show this. However, I can't help but remember watching Curry melt in two straight playoffs when it actually mattered.

So I am going to have to say Kyrie

I'd be interested to see how many of Currys at the rim are assisted versus Kyrie. Sure that makes Curry a better off the ball player and that's pretty obvious but doesn't play into this argument.

So give me the guy who's not going to get locked down by Kevin frickking Love at the 3 point line because he's so fixated on hero balling a 3

I think you guys are focusing too much on last year's finals when he was dealing with a nagging injury. Not that it's an excuse as to why they lost but it shouldn't take away from how good of a scorer Steph is when healthy. That said I'm taking kyrie In my own scenario

Curry showed plenty of lateral quickness since coming back from his knee injury. It's not as if his knee being tender made him be hesitant to take a wide open lane to the rim. His ego & Kyrie dropping one in his face a few seconds before was a pretty direct cause of him wasting 15 seconds to get a half-assed shot off against Kevin Love.

Chris Paul actually missed games and was likely less than 70% in that 3-1 Rox comeback, but you never once allow anyone to mention that.

Y'all remember that one time Love missed a full game in the finals last year?

You just brought up Paul's injury excuse in a thread with NOTHING TO DO WITH PAUL.

You'd never do something like that my man. That's why I love you. Straight shooter.

I wanna say Kyrie since he's already done it

But if I'm being honest with myself, it's Curry because he is the best shooter in the history of basketball

So you want a less than 40% chance of a 3 going in for the win?

Well I'll be darned. All that talk about the Warriors missing their 4th best player in game 5, I can't believe no one has ever mentioned Cleveland missing their 3rd best player and wining by 30.

I didn't say it was just a 3. But hypothetically, if I'm down 2 and want to go for the win, you run Curry off as many off the ball screens as you can. I'd rather him take that shot than Kyrie.

Down 2 and goal is to get to the rim, I'd take Kyrie.

Did we ever specify the scenario? I know OP said just down 2. Am I going for the win or tie?

If they lost game 7, you can't guarantee a game 5 win. It obviously increases their odds, but it guarantees GS nothing.

Kyrie knows how to lead his team to victory in the clutch:

Lol at Curry

No not really. And I'd take either of those 2.

I love Russ, but he don't make the cut on this one.
