She has been going off on Kid Rock lately too. Hahah. Said since he is from Romeo, Michigan he isn't Detroit enough and a bunch of other shite about him being a racist. Dude has done more for that city than she can do in 10 lifetimes.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But this last election was one of the lowest turnouts in recent history if I remember correctly.
Also, just because POTUS is from Queens,NY doesn't really change much. You are forgetting the 3-5 years that he ran on the birther platform and certain people seemed to enjoy that. Let's not act like Trump just appeared out of nowhere.

I don't think anyone is denying that Trumps populist pro blue collar speeches helped him in certain parts that typically voted blue. But let's not act like some of his rhetoric has empowered center groups of individuals that used to be seen as on the outer limits of the political scale in this country.
It's like Rush Limbaugh said during the early parts of the 2016 election. Trumps campaign started by listening to political talk radio and reading message boards. Those two places aren't operating in an area 100% of the truth is always welcomed.
