So what kind of golf gear is everyone getting for Christmas. I asked Santa for some Nitro, and a shiny new 915.

Probably won't get either since I haven't been a good boy.

I have asked for nothing and will get nothing. I am thinking about some boots though.

looking to upgrade my irons..currently TM Burners.

Looking at the 714 AP1/AP2, TM RSi1/RSi2, G25/G30s.

Play at 16. Irons are my strength, would score a lot lower if i could get off the tee consistently and putt.

What do golf baws recommend?
And should i upgrade to another strict GI iron (AP1, RSi1) or go to next skill level of GI/players (AP2/RSi2).

You need to go hit them all side by side.

Just saw what ya said about GI sets.

What do you think? Have ya hit a better iron and thought you could play them?

I've played a couple rounds with MP60s. Hit em decent, but mishits were definitely felt more.

I plan on going to hit them all and get fitted.

I'm leaning towards getting the AP2 or RSi2s. Just wasn't sure if it was a big mistake to not stick to the GI sets.
My irons are strongest part of my game, i'd like to take it to next level and work on shaping shots more.

The ApII's are good clubs. You can work them and, they have a pretty good sweet spot.
I've never hit a Ap1, but michael did. I think he broke 80 at U Club with those.
The other brands you listed are your call. I've never held them.

Which burners ya got? The 2.0's, plain old burners, burners with the heavy cavity back?

No. Get a better iron. If that's the strongest part of your game, and ya think it's getting better, get some good irons.

What driver ya hittin?

Burner plus

They've been a good club and helped me bring my game down from mid-90s to mid to high 80s.
