He would shoot a 63 every round, and be the first person ever to win match play events 6 & 3

Outside of Azinger, who could possibly right the Team USA ship and make the Players and Pairings more competitive for 2016?

I see both Positive and Negatives picking Freddy.

My dream Captaincies:

Team Europe - Darren Clarke
Team USA - John Daly

Finally the term "golf hooligan" would be deemed appropriate, and imagine the parties for both teams and their fans.

IT HAS to be Azinger at this point or they may as well forfeit.

Trevino and Floyd are too far removed from today's players. Azinger is the only choice for me. he is incredibly analytical but yet still inspires the team...more than anything...he has a PROCESS that is proven to work that involves the players and removes uncertainty and prepares them to play their best as individuals and a team.

It needs to be either Azinger or Couples.

They won't pick Couples purely out of spite that he's done the President's Cup multiple times

Zinger is not going to do it. He has too much invested in being "the last Ryder Cup Captain to win" to take a chance of losing.

Counterpoint: If he wins again, he basically becomes a complete Ryder Cup

Not true at all. that is conjecture. I think he would relish being the captain

I see that as a plus.

You have two years. I'm willing to venture that Watson's decision to bench the two young rookies was partly based on being more comfortable with players he was more familiar with.

Trevino has been on what, 5.5 winning teams? He was the coach of a losing team, which I'm willing to bet lead to lessons learned. It would be interesting.

don't want those old fossils being ceremonial captains but out of touch aand frankly won't have the phsyical energy to do this right.

The euros will play the drums on Floyd and Trevinos faces and take videos of it.

+21 in quota for first round. I shot 70 on #4 but we played shamble. 3 best balls are used out of 5.
